- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Visited the Royal Oak Westhoughton, used to go a lot the pub looks tired patches of plasterboard on ceilings, ordered food no fish and chips, OK something else then, hunters chicken, none ordered 3 scampi 1 ham and eggs told 20 mins, fine, over half hour had to ask how long, had to take ham eggs back peas microwaved, cold and shrivelled up, plate stone cold 3 slices of packet preformed ham not acceptable waitress reply that the company says to use and does say on packet Wiltshire ham, does not say on menu sliced preformed totally unacceptable sub standardfoodBy stephencrompton, February 14, 2020
